DRIVETRAIN LONGEVITY
Crankshield was created based on years of riding/racing/servicing bicycles. Realizing there is a
need to keep the drivetrain cleaner for a longer period of time, it is designed to reduce some of the wear and friction caused by a dirty chain to "keep riding strong".

Product
Crankshield keeps the chain cleaner by shielding the crank area from airborne particles (i.e. dirt, mud, and water) kicked up from the front tire for an improved cycling experience while maintaining easy access to the drivetrain.

Currently includes a pivoting shield with embedded logo, mount, 3 spacers, 2 stainless steel pivot bolts, double sided tape, 2 zip ties, and protective film.

Installation Guide
Step 1: Locate Crankshield on center of downtube to determine crankarm & chainring clearances (use spacers to adjust clearance from crankarm if needed, adjust desired angle with low torque on pivot bolts).

Note: Minimum clearances - chainring clearance should be approx. 3/8" (bottom of the Crankshield should sit just below the chainring approx. 3/8") with a crankarm clearance of approx. 3/16".

Step 2: Remove film from double sided tape and place on a clean downtube.
Note: Confirm clearances.

Step 3: Place protective film on a clean downtube, loop zip ties around mount, film, and downtube (trim any excess).
Maintenance and Keep
Wash with water and mild soap. Keep away from extreme heat and avoid high impact.

Note: Drivetrain maintenance and lube is still required for optimal performance.
